Latest Research

In recent studies, researchers have made significant findings regarding Myasthenia Gravis (MG). Lee et al. (2025) discussed two cases of thymolipoma, a rare thymic tumor, associated with ocular MG, highlighting the role of robotic thymectomy as a minimally invasive treatment option. Meanwhile, Shabto et al. (2025) provided an overview of the challenges faced when thyroid eye disease and ocular MG occur simultaneously, affecting patients' quality of life.

Furthermore, Xie et al. (2025) discovered that Sirt6, a protein involved in cellular homeostasis, is downregulated in MG patients. Their research suggests that stabilizing Sirt6 through USP9X interaction could mitigate MG symptoms by regulating T cell subtypes, offering a new potential therapeutic approach. These findings collectively advance the understanding of MG pathogenesis and treatment options.
